Rob Rodriguez is a business broker and commercial realtor for Azul Business Advisory, a San Antonio based business consulting firm he founded with Drew Whelchel. He leads an active team involved in the acquisition and disposition of various types of commercial property and businesses throughout South Texas. Mr. Rodriguez earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2019 and has represented numerous clients in many real estate deals involving tens of millions of dollars with investors, buyers, and sellers throughout the globe.

 

Mr. Rodriguez is a strong advocate for business and the community and served on numerous municipal boards & commissions and many non-profit boards to include the City of San Antonio Planning Commission, American Red Cross, and Southside First Economic Development Foundation. He is a graduate of Leadership San Antonio (Class 33), and currently serves on numerous committees for multiple Chambers of Commerce and the San Antonio Board of Realtors and is the 2024 President of the CCIM-San Antonio and South Texas Chapter.

 

Rob has an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a BS in Education from Texas Tech University where he was honored as an R.O.T.C. Distinguished Military Graduate. A graduate of Harlandale High School, Mr. Rodriguez returned to San Antonio after serving in various leadership positions in the US Army both in forward areas overseas and while stationed at Fort Bragg. Rob is a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and volunteers his time with various community service organizations to include the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and The St Vincent de Paul Society. Rob has been married to his wife Melinda for over thirty years and they have three children & a dog: Megan (husband Hunter), Robbie, Diego, and “Cooper”.
